The two that are in the picture together are printed ones, so that I'm use to. the rest are all the perforated ones. I've told myself that since I'm fairly new to all patterns it will be just as easy to learn to work with them as it will the modern kind. :)

I'm happy to hear that they are easy to use though!

Do you make copies of the patterns or use the originals? I find copying the unprinted ones easier than the printed and I also learn what all the perforations mean in the process.

I wish There was a picture of the back of the envelope because if it buttons up the back I'll have to alter it. Back buttons=not so flattering.

I remeber someone mentioning this pattern being problematic. I really wanted the pedal pushers so I hope I can work out the issues by making a muslin or two first.

I have been looking for this pattern for ages and the last time I saw it on ebay I think it went for 50 dollars or some outrageos price like that. I finally found it a few days ago hiding in a 50's advance lot pattern and only one other person bit on the lot I got 23 advance patterns for 15.50 and 8.00 for shipping. This is the Advance 8551 I have loved forever!!!

DPD, I have been lusting over that Hollywood pattern forever! It's going to loook so cute on you. I have the trouser pattern. The only problem is that the crotch length is much deeper than modern trousers. This was my first vintage pants pattern. I originally thought the crotch was ridiculous, but can now compare to others and it's typical of the period.
