I should have known it was you!!! I was the one bidding against you. Are you going to reprint this or are you interested in a trade of copies?

D'oh!
Im SO glad you stopped bidding, 'cause you dont want to know how high I was willing to go on it.

Im thinking about reproing it, but Im sure we can work something out. You still want that Du Barry pleated skirt, right?

:D No thanks on the pleated skirt. I've been playing with muslins and the early 30's, like this pattern, is what works on me. If you're interested in a swap, here is my flickr group for all my patterns http://www.flickr.com/photos/12275674@N08/sets/72157608649336586/

I was really not supposed to buy anything, but these two called to me! I've been wanting the 50s one for a while now, so I was glad to find a copy I could afford :)

I have been wanting a straight skirt or dress with a Godet for ages and this is the perfect size and the price was right. I have some cute fabric that I got for 1.50 a yard that will be perfect.

This is a really interesting pattern. Is the skirt straight in front but full
in the back?Or two different dresses? I am trying to understand from the
back view where those princess seams end up at the sides. Are there pockets?

It's straight in front and full in back. I am not sure about the princess seams either. I haven't received the pattern yet so I don't know if they are pockets or just seams.

Marla that last pattern is adorable. I have recently been looking for a house dress with buttons.

The buttons, the collar, the sleeves--everything about that pattern is divine! I think it's much too pretty to be a house dress!

So cute! I love the lacing details!

I actually almost fell out of my chair when I found this. Missing the instructions, but so what? Yum Yum! And I have some cotton pique in green and yellow that's already in the stash!
