I've seen a number of sewing patterns that were described as being 'house dresses'. Does that mean it's just a simple dress for staying home and doing housework? Wow, times have changed! I'd like to start wearing a 'house dress'; I'm sick of track suits, stretched out tank tops and pyjamas. Just because I'm staying in the house doesn't mean I don't deserve to get dolled up and have fun. Must...find...energy...:eusa_doh:

You need to show this to Erin at Dressaday.com---she has a pattern of Leola's too!! In the same pink marker!! I wonder who this mysterious Leola was.....

Unfortunately I'll probably have to let the rest of Leola's patterns go. I'm not going to say how many patterns I bought on Ebay in the past 24 hours but it's enough patterns for everyone on the FL to sew a wardrobe.

Haha, I have the same dilema. I was going to start allowing myself one pattern a week but then realized that realistically I can't MAKE the patterns at the rate of one a week. I think I will make all my present patterns, until I have one left. Then I will order a pattern while I make my last one. And when I'm done making that pattern, and my new pattern has arrived, I'll start making that one and then I will order a new one....and so on and so forth.

Just tell people it's "research". You have plans, but you can't tell anyone yet. They serve as "inspiration to your creativity". How can they fault you then? I know we all would understand!
