vintage patterns

You are welcome, Bo Peep. I would love to have more original patterns, but I am not talented at resizing yet and many of the vintage ones are too small for my frame. Any ideas on the easiest way to resize? I read about Lutterloh but not sure if this works for resizing patterns. Any help would be appreciated since I am a beginner. Thanks in advance!

Thanks, Lauren! I am beginning to find that out! Do I need something else to be addicted to? Caffeine, red lipstick and vintage patterns, oh did I mention chocolate? I will check out the website and hopefully it will help me!

Lady Day, after I saw this, I drew up the courage to do the same with an unrealistic Swirl seller.. and it worked :)

Yay! Im so glad for you! :eusa_clap
I mean, what can it hurt? Just takes a bit of courage, right?

Lauren, all of those are lovely. You have excellent taste.

I think this is missing the instructions which shoudn't be an issue for the blouse and skirt, but I've never made a jacket before.

Anne Adams 4747 - I saw this and had to have it! I paid a fair bit more that I would ordinarily, but think I'll definitely make a few versions of it. (and I much prefer buttons to sewing in zips!)

These are just a few of the patterns left to me by my mother in law.
Most of them are 34 bust. My question is, how much trouble is it to grade
them up to a 44 bust?Would it be worth it or should I just consider selling them?

If you really like the garment, go ahead and try it since you already own them. I have graded up from 34 to 46 without much trouble, but I'm petite. If you are taller or have broad shoulders, it might be a hassle.

I'm 5'7" but a bit short waisted. I guess I should just pick one I like and try grading it up and see how it goes. A 10 inch difference seems like a lot, but
once you divide that among all of the seams, maybe its not so bad.

Here are three I have which are of no use to me, the era doesn't interest me particularly. But I know a few of you like the Mad Men look so if you're interested in a swapsy or something?

Decent sizes on the top two.

I love this pattern, but at a 37 hip when I regraded it (um, more than a few inches) it did nothing fit wise, so again...swapsy etc?

ANd this Advance is specifically a Plus Size pattern, as on the back, its sizes go from 42 bust to 52 bust. Cool!
