In anticipation of receiving the incoming Stetson Nevadan No.1Q I was looking into the history of Parker's, Reno, Nevada. I wasn't able to uncover much more than what Scott @Cornshucker77 had found during his own search except to learn the original neon sign from Parker's has been fully restored. And the store pic in Scott's review (showing the neon sign) was taken in 1960. Review Scott's fine post here:

Also I noted a difference in the embossments of his hat & mine.

If Justin was still posting he might be able to shed more light as I recall he lives in or near Reno.

Dunlap Derby (circa 1934). White's was just across from Yale University in New Haven, CT.

White or White's is a hard thing to search on nowadays. I combined that with "clothes", "clothing", "store", etc. Only came up with this one photo of the store on Chapel Street in 1968. They had a couple of earlier locations.

Today. Looks like they moved that arch on the left to the center.

Looks like this store was 2-3 blocks away from Delmonico Hatter's on Elm street in New Haven.

No Name Hat Company from John D. Myers in Hagerstown, Maryland.

This earlier version (with partner Brewer) is at the same long-time location of 27 N. Potomac Street.

That location today is a parking garage. Not sure when the store closed. In 1966 this was the address of Webster Clothes.

1930 advertising that mentions "No Name" hats.

Knox from Marx in Springfield, MO. Original family operated the store from 1880s until 1975. It lived on under that name into the mid-1980s (at that point they were in "the mall").

1950s. The Hart, Schaffner & Marx naming is coincidental (they are out of Chicago).

Pinched fedoras and homburgs on the window for the aniversary pic and flowers all over, inside too. Note how different from each other these bowlers are!

Unfortunately the quality doesn't allow for decent close ups.

Next Hans H. Holm hattefabrikk, the oldest in Scandinavia. This is the main (out of 3 at least) outlet store in city center, Oslo

unfortunately only building pics. The store (no 23) should be under the balcony in the middle of the building.
