1967 MG-B Roadster.

Purchased for $500 from a family friend because he couldn't get it to run....

After converting from 6v to 12v and installing a new ignition switch, she ran like a champ. Top down for the whole Summer (all five weeks here in the NW).

A 1972 Mach 1. Interesting. I have a 1973 Mach 1 in white and black.
Its int he shop being repaired after an idiot pulled out in from of me from a stop sign. :eusa_doh: It will be fine after it gets fixed.

Looking at some of the photos above really let the 1940's US car grow on me. Should do some research on them, even though the garag eis full already and the pockets are empty

So here a few pics from our cars...Being a fan of British cars, it is not surprising that two of the following three come from there:

1947 Riley RMA 1 1/2 litre, was restored in the 1980s after sitting nearly 20 years in a barn. We use it quite regularly in the summer, even on longer trips - avoiding the highways though...

1956 Armstrong Siddeley Sapphire, 3.4 litre straight 6. This car is still original and has never been restored. Very comfortable to drive, feels like sitting on a sofa with an engine humming along

1970 NSU Ro80, twin-cylinder (or better say chamber?) Wankel rotary engine. This car is probably not very well known outside of Europe - or even outside of Germany? They were built from 1967 to 1977, unfortunately technical issues with the engine in the beginning and the oil crisis in the early 70s made Audi, who had acquired NSU in the meantime, abandon the rotary engine.

Happy Birthday Kombi!

50 today, and doesn't it show...

Pictures from a recent 'off the beaten track' winter rally in the Ardennes. The Kombi coped really well, the off road sections were great fun! Burned an exhaust valve out on the way home :eusa_doh:, but I've just replaced it and should have the motor back in soon.

Here are a couple of photos I recently took of our Nissan Pao on a trip to St Andrews, Scotland. We did get slightly stuck in the sand but it was worth it.
