I think it was in Brown Deer. Absolutely awful. My thoughts and prayers go out to those poor people.
You're not very nice lol
But I know you love that stuff more than the 1958 Buick Caballero.
That's true. I would prefer a 1958 Mercury Colony Park, myself.
Mercury?! :faint:
My daily car right now is a Mercury, a 1990 Colony Park.
She'd look perfect alongside the rest of the fleet!
Is that fake wood?
It has a name, Di-Noc. It's better than real wood, much less maintenance. Now they make a UV-protective plastic sheeting you can put over it, that stops it from getting sun-faded. Plus, that sheeting's gonna help prevent scratches!
No thanks. I'll deal with maintenance.
Well, have fun putting real wood on a car that wasn't supposed to have it
Maybe your Eldorado lol
One of the Wyeth art family boys drives around town here in an immaculate 1937 Ford Woody, which has been in the family since it was new.
Every once in a while he'll park it in front of the theatre and the sidewalk will block up from people stopping to gaze admiringly.
Tom, that Colony Park looks nice but if we are fantasizing about a wagon from 1958, I'll take an Edsel Bermuda.
NO. I wouldn't put fake vinyl wood on anything that isn't supposed to have it. That would be a pimpmobile. lol lol lol I meant having a woodie wagon that was actually wood.
No way on the Cad. I don't even want that hippie half top.
An "Estate" Eldorado?
It would be different, and what's a few hundred pounds more to an Eldorado anyway?
Those Bermudas are cool, too!
I don't think it's a hippie vinyl top. Hippies couldn't have afforded a new Eldorado.
That big block will push it fine, either way
That is a beauty and everyone knows it. Now THAT is a Woodie. Anything else is a vinyl pretender.
Thanks Tom. Looks much better than the first shots! How far do you plan on going with it? Nice orange addition too. You must have zero time with this bunch? That's true. I would prefer a 1958 Mercury Colony Park, myself. Here's some pictures of the Satellite, also. Before I forget, Butte. Please forgive that it's a bit messy. We have been doing a lot of work on it.
