Missing it's label and in need of a cleaning, but a 40s/early 50s bold look tie for a buck doesn't get left behind.
No they don't! Great find Dale.

Extra nice one, Bob!! That's a real treasure!I remember my Dad wearing this hand-painted tie in the early 1960s. I thought it was so cool. It came home with me recently as my folks are selling their house now that they are both in an assisted living facility.

There's a lot of great vintage ties in this thread but I really dig this one.
Very nice additions to the collection, Eric! I especially admire that leaf one. Hope you get the opportunity to wear them somewhere soon.No place to wear ties - yet. I picked up a Haband and an Arrow recently.
Good to see your posts folks. Be safe, be strong and see you on the street soon, Eric -
View attachment 246936 It's been forever since I've posted here. Vintage ties seem to have dried up in my neck of the woods. So I was excited to find this new old stock 30's tie from my former employer of 20+ years. They were having a 5 bucks a bag sale at the thrift store so I was able to toss it on top of all the other stuff and get it virtually for free.
I usually wear all my ties but I think I might just leave this one as a museum piece.Wow! I'd have gone the full 10-cents for it (maybe more).
Do you plan to wear it?
Incredible find!! Congrats!Just noticed the original price tag on the tie above. Isn't it about time we brought back the ten cent necktie? View attachment 246949
Hard to beat that!! Great find, Michael!Long time, no neckties around here again. But I found this unlabeled model at my favorite thrift the other day. And as luck would have it they were having a 25 cent pop up sidewalk sale. NOS with the display band intact.
