Found this beauty in a vintage shop. Splurged a little more than I normally try to spend on a tie, but it's been a long dry spell and, well, it has flamingos on it. I couldn't pass it up.

Two great ones there, Yamahana. I'm a big fan of patterns like the one on the Pilgrim. And the bull rider is great.

My first Hollyvogue necktie. The silk used for this feels very soft.
I really like the print on this one!

This green patterned brocade is one of the coolest ties I’ve ever seen. I’ve been on the lookout ever since you posted it for one similar.

Hope everyone enjoyed the Fourth of July! Just bought this tie through Etsy today, and it'll come in the mail in a few days. Bold tie, but the print looks simple compared to your typical late 40's-early 50's tie. It also looked familiar... more on that below.

Looking pretty 40 style snazzy there. I really enjoy the vintage style you put together on a regular basis. The spectator shoes, the ties, jackets and of course the great collection of fedoras. The only problem is after you post I’m going “ man that’s cool, I’ve got to find me one of those!” And then I’m on the hunt. A tip of my hat to you and your vintage wardrobe.

I tried looking up The Men's Shop in Iowa City, but no hits. I've never seen the label before in the piles of vintage clothes I've looked through.

Two Lands' End ties flanking a Pierre Cardin. For some reason they have decided Lands' End ties are worth twice as much as the run of the mill tie. These had been hanging around for a month now and were half price. So the normal price if you would.

Another Lands' End. I have to say that the silk on some of the LE ties is very substantial. And since they are extra long they may be seeing service as a puggaree on a straw hat soon. Once deconstructed and reconstructed.
