Brown National Day - late 50's?
From today: A Haband rayon tie, brocade design background, c.early-'50s, which sort of features a planned knot.
Is that what that is called? A planned knot. I have one tie that has a pattern on the tie but a different pattern where the knot is tied so it has a really cool look.
Talkin' about square-bottomed, here's a couple examples with simple, yet sophisticated designs.
