Yeah, but it's permanent press, and that's actually the way it's supposed to pop up. Every time I wear it, I fear that somebody's going to think that I just slept in it...

I guess that would be a problem. I wonder why they didn't make it in a striped pattern instead of a white on white pattern.[huh] Then you would know it is a seersucker material.

They were done in the 1980s if I remember correctly. I think I might have some around somewhere.

I was a big Pierre Cardin fan in the 80s so I remember his offerings. A lot of the fashions and styles of the 1980s were throwbacks to the 40s-50s era---the suits and accessories I mean. The designers made many things that had a modern make up but an old look to it.

Of course. It is a very artful pose---something you would find in classic paintings from the old masters.

I'd never do that. A ways back a local community theater asked if they could borrow some for a play set in the 1940s. I did donate several, but ones not in the greatest condition (holes and stains).

That sounds like the best course of action really.
