Yesterdays tie a hand painted Korry made in California with a vintage sailfish clasp.

Didn’t realize it had a stain until seeing the photos. Pretty well blends with the pattern.

…. and my latest acquisition a few days ago this Rhynecliffe “hand made with the dots” hand painted buckaroo. It’s built like a 30s tie but could be 40s pretty much NOS.

That Korry is pretty sweet, too. I really like how the one bright green feather pops out from the rest of it.

Don't know whether these belong here nor whether I should show them at all. They all are from my active bow-tie-wearing times. The first three I made myself (and they only came to my mind again when the exact same set - yet a bit longer versions - turned up when I was checking my late father's wardrobe - I didn't even remember that I had made these for him [another one for the "You know you are getting old when:" thread!]).

I'm often too lazy to shave and then I end up with a 3 to 5-day beard, which quickly gets on my nerves and everything comes off.

The knit silk college ties are among my favorite now....

and well that silk brocade is quite the tie.....
