Finally stumbled onto a new tie the other day. And finally got it out to wear today,

I didn't take a shot of the label, but it is a Brent. Which I recall was a Montgomery Ward brand.

Have a good evening,
Michael

Cool colors and pattern on the tie. It coordinates well with the pocket square. Thanks for sharing.

Today I wore a striking acetate tie to coordinate with tweed today. No label on this tie.

Some great colors and pattern on the Brent, Michael! Nice find!!
Thanks Dale. It's been very dry around here on the tie front.

Thanks Eric. After I had the tie on I remembered I had a similarly colored square. They seemed to play together pretty well.

Great warm colors on that wide stripe you have on. It was fun to see your collection of clip on neckties too. I need to keep an eye out for those. There were some cool patterns.

Thanks,
Michael

Thanks for the inspiration guys. Michael and Eric, looking sharp as always. Not only great ties, you know how to wear them, too! I'm still managing to wear my ties in spite of 110 degree days and 90% humidity, you give me something to aspire to.
Great glasses too Eric.

Thanks sir. Stay cool.

Today I was out and about in a 40's Panther Caravat. Love the way that this tie maintains a solid purple-ish knot and the blade that shows is interesting and spiffy. Just a bit of "flash" shows before dipping into the vest. I like this look. It took a couple times knotting the tie to get the desired look. Worth it!

Gotta love the 30-40's ties!

I found a matching vintage tie in a blue!

The patterns are the same. The blade size is a 1/2 inch different. The label of the blue is a Towncraft Deluxe and the green is a Haband. Curious. Really curious.

I think you would be amazed on who makes neckties for many brand names to be placed on them at the time of manufacturing. It happens not just in ties,. but many clothing and shoes.

Both of those ties are fantastic!

Very nice, Matt! And best I can tell from the photos, that Pellens & Loick has a cool texture.
