It's been awhile since I posted, so to make up for the absence here’s some ties I picked up from a recent trip across the pond.

Nice ones Michael! I particularly like he maroon / pink square-tip.
Yes, I think that one is clearly the winner of the group. Though I like finding Amana goods. The one to the left of the square tip has some very interesting texture to it. I'm fairly sure it's a polyester, but it is completely unlabeled. I got another lot a week or so ago, but forgot to take pics before I hung them up and I also got a fair big handful of bowties, including the tie em yerself sort. I think nothing vintage there.

Thanks Bob. I did finally decide that I liked that one enough that I wouldn't take a chance and sprang the full $2 for it. Ha ha.

Good advice to put them around the neck, though then I might tend to try to walk out without paying for them.

I picked up a couple yesterday. Not vintage really, but of interest to me.
The first is another Amana Woolen Mills product.

Pretty staid. They are not very common here even though the mill is only 15 miles away.

The second is a Frank Lloyd Wright design

Based on a 1957 carpet design as stated on the label

I think those are both pretty awesome Michael!
Thanks Bob. I don't think Amana ever had a very big clothing operation, being primarily a mill. So whenever I find something of there's I collect it. I have a certain affinity for our local communist sect and the fact that up until prohibition they had an hour long beer break for the workers in mid-afternoon doesn't hurt either. Ha ha.

I may put on the FLW before I go out today.
