This past week I got a whole bunch of ties. Also, the first Tuesday of the month a guy I know at church gave me some of his old bow ties. I'd guess most of his bow ties are from the late 60s or 70s.

Yesterday I got a whole bunch of square end ties from the same place. I guess the previous owner really liked the square end ties.

Black Dacron square end tie. 1 6/8" wide. 52 6/8" long. Probably 50s or 60s.

Unmarked Gray-Blue-White square end tie. 2" wide. 51" long. Probably 50s or 60s.

Unmarked Gray-Red square end tie. 2" wide. 52 6/8" long. Probably 50s or 60s.

The Taylor tie square end. Blue and red stripes. 1 7/8" wide. 52 2/8" long. Probably 50s or 60s.

"Designer's Corner" Wash 'N Wear square end tie. 1 5/8" wide. 52" long. Probably 50s or 60s.

Ernst Nizam square end tie. 2" wide. 52" long. Big (cigarette?) burn on front. Probably 50s or 60s.

G. Fox & Co. Hartford Connecticut square end woven tie. 1 2/8" wide. 52" long. Probably 50s or 60s.

The Taylor Tie. Red and gold stripes square end tie. 1 6/8" wide. 52" long. Probably 50s or 60s.

Tucker Ties. "The Regimental" square end tie. Sold by Oscar Cohen in Ansonia, Connecticut. 1 7/8" wide. 51 5/8" long. Probably 50s or 60s.

Taylor Ludlow Vermont square end tie. 1 9/16" wide. 52 7/8" long. Probably 50s or 60s. This one is my personal favorite of the bunch.

Brown and red Dacron square end tie. 1 6/8" wide. 53" long. Probably 50s or 60s.

Sabina. 2" wide. 55" long. I have no idea when this tie is from. It looks quite contemporary, but it's not super bulky like modern ties, and it's a bit too short for one too. Possibly 60s, but it might also be 80s.

Terylene "The Hampshire". 3" wide. 54" long. Probably 50s or 60s.

Superba Dacron red and gold. 3 1/2" wide. 52 2/8" long. I was going to guess 70s, but it seems too short to be 70s. I don't really know when this tie is from.

Liberty of London. 2 2/8" wide. 53" long. Probably 50s or 60s.

Superba Dacron olive. 2 1/2" wide. 56" long. Probably 60s.

Unmarked black tie. 2 1/2" wide. 55" long. Probably 50s or 60s.

Rooster brown. 2" wide. 54 1/2" long. I originally thought this tie was from the 60s, but it's rather bulky for then.

Rooster gray. 2" wide. 54 6/8" long. I also originally thought this tie was 60s, but I looked at the bottom and it has the satin lining which is much more common on more recent ties. This tie is also very bulky.

Nice finds RS! I particularly like the striped Taylor ties. Not sure I could pull off the '70s butterfly bow. Yes ... I could definitely pull it off (and leave it off). Probably because it makes me flash back to my prom and the velvet bow with the baby blue tux.

When I was a kid I had an aunt and uncle who lived in Tampa, and for some reason this tie triggered memories of visiting them in the summers. It was a few bucks more than I normally budget for my tie collecting, but I HAD to have it. I'm sure some of you can relate.
