Boy, how I miss going to "next towns over". It was a rare Goodwill in Indiana, Illinois and Ohio that didn't have a haul of vintage ties waiting to be snatched!

I found a cache of vintage ties today the next town over.

I found a cache of vintage ties today the next town over.

Very nice catch, congrats. Did you find them in a thrift store or antique shop? Swapping stories, I found a stash in a Buffalo, NY, Salvation Army a couple years ago; I saw a box of ties on the ground, dug in, and pulled out a grocery bag of 25 vintage.

Antique shop. They'd just got in a giant rubbermaid full of ties. I pulled out 50, left another couple hundred, which were mostly either later or had damage.
