Fastuni: what date do you think that tie is? 1950s?
Lovely lepidopteran tie JP
^^^Nice ties, gents!
From right now, something I found at a "last call" Goodwill, where everything that didn't sell at other Goodwills goes to before being thrown out. Thought at first of selling it, but have decided that it's too cool to part with. It's part of the Sierra Tones line by Hollyvogue, and originally sold in Grand Island, Nebraska.
^^You'll give me five bucks for it? You know that I wouldn't pay more than three for it...I'm thinking of a particular sports coat to pair it with.
^^Envy me? Thanks, old boy, but you need to make a visit to the L.A. area so we can find you some more neckties...

Hi Folks
These are the closest I ever come to finding great vintage ties in second hand stores... Now if I could only find the outfits like the ones on the gentleman on the tie in the middle then I wouldn't envy WB so much.... LOL
Thanks and regards.

You did alright there. I like the heck out of the one on the left.

Hi jamespowers
My favorite as well, part of the Tuesday special at the GW store buy 3 ties for 0.99. LOL love GW.
No maker mark but the feel of the silk is much finer then all my pre lounge over priced ties. Had I found FL 8/9 years ago the Grandkids college fund would be well heeled....
Thank you JamesP and best regards!

That is a spectacular specimen, WB. Put me in line if you hit your head again and consider selling it
