I'll Lock Up

Late 60s? A tie for the no-tie wearing demographic. Very much reminds me of something my grandfather would have worn. He worked for an iron ore mining/processing outfit. He would have rocked that with a light blue shirt and navy work chinos, with black work oxfords and probably white socks, and a stingy brim milan straw hat. Taking us out for Sunday dinner in his big old LTD.
Thanks for the memories Widebrim

Here's a find off eBay, it wasn't listed in any clothing category, I found it quite by accident.
Onyx N' Gold by Resisto
The lining is embossed:
Resisto Tie
"Sterling"
Perfect Knotting, Wear Resisting Cravat
Supreme Quality and Construction
The wool tie interfacing is marked:
This is the Genuine Resisto Lining
100% Pure Virgin Wool
Non-Wrinkleable
Ok, how about this one then:
Very colorful! A Countess Mara interpretation of the Bacchus myth.
Recent tie haul.
The original Damons witht he elf on the label are some of my favorites. Ah, the day when a tie was a work of art rather than a borring mass produced rep pattern.
My thoughts exactly! Not to mention better constructed without the overly padded liner.
