Here's a colorful dragon. It has no label, though.

Nah, I like that tie in particular since I raise german roller canaries. I usually wear it to shows etc.
They come up once in a while on OFAS. You just have to look for them. That one came with a blue background and a red background from what I gather.
First, what is OFAS? And, could you possibly post a photo or scan of the bird tie? I've never seen it in color. Please, let me know if you ever run across another. Thanks.
I recently scored a lot of 500 ties on eBay for less than $.35 cents a piece, shipping included. They were delivered this morning and I just finished sorting through them. Found only two from the 1940's, but a few dozen from the 50's & 60's. The rest are modern and in perfect condition. I figure I can turn them on eBay individually for at least $5 each.

Very nice tie, but I believe that's a Asian phoenix.
Both nice!
I'd love a tie in this fabric:
not quite, no. Might be able to get a bowtie out of it, though. I prefer to wear it as a hat, however, so I probably won't be cutting it up!
That's easier than you might think, with a simple pattern like this. Hand blocking with little rubber stamps.
