DH took me to a few antique malls over the weekend for my b-day and I came home with these.
I am starting to acquire quite a few pink planters.
The first one is by UPCO USA.
The second is a Max Weil California Figurine that I adore even though she has some damage, I had to have her for $2!

Your Weil girl is gorgeous! I collect them, just when I can find them, though-I can't usually afford to buy them on eBay. I have about 7 or so. I would have bought her too-damaged or not! Great find!

I picked up a pair of these for $18 yesterday at my favorite thrift. I've been wanting some deco vanity lights for so long, and these are perfect! :)

Good job there! I love the pink and to get a pair for that price is amazing!

Found these at the swap meet, today. I hadn't intended to go, but my brother came back from there and gave me the film reel in this post. We went back and I found the rest. Thirty dollars for everything I bought. My brother wouldn't disclose what he'd paid for this reel of film.

This is an Encyclopedia Britanica 16mm single sprocket, educational film on automotive machining, with sound. The corner of the red and white leaflet is folded over. Note the spelling, "Encyclopaedia" on the reel cannister.

Everything I found. :)

Broken, dented and cracked, but the knob and the handle made it worth ten dollars to me. That's a pump in the handle. Maybe someone knows why it's there? Clayton and Lambert, Detriot Michigan.

Five dollars each for everything else. A Minolta 7s 35mm rangefinder. Came with a fitted case. All the cameras work, as far as I know. This Minolta needs a 625 battery.

I don't know why I showed the boring side, but this 8mm Bell & Howell has settings for slow motion and stop-motion animation, and a window with a "full wind" indicator. Lens has focus lock. It came with a reel inside.

The lens of this 8mm Revere Model 119 lives up to its "Power Zoom" name; Wind up the camera and use the black buttons on the side to zoom in and out while filming. The inside is absolutely beautiful.

Remember watching Film Strips in school? Even with all the rust, this is, to me, the most unique of my finds today. It's a Picturol Projector Model Q by the "Society for Visual Education (SVE), Inc. (Chicago)." The cord has been cut about five inches out.

Oooooh Mr Newport, I am very envious of you. You found some excellent finds.

I have that exact same Minolta Rangefinder, used to be my father's. It's a excellent camera, and actually the only film camera I have that I still use.

I love that 8mm revere, I must say!

I have a similar, but smaller one, at home made by "Primus" and as far as I know these things where run on carosene. To get the blow torch going you had to build up pressure for the carosene by pumping the handle. Then you had to pre-heat the carosene using alcohol fuel in the small pan under the nozzle and then you opened the tap and let the (now heated) carosene out of the nozzle and lit it.

It's a scary thing to watch. :)

I am so mad at my local Goodwill...:rage: They recently raised the prices of thier LPs from 75 cents to $1.65. Isn't that rediculous? I've lived in this town for over eight years and LPs were the one item in the store that never changed price and I've bought hundreds. Now the price has more than doubled over night! I've never heard on any item anywhere that that's happened to. I wrote them a lengthy email last night and told them I expect an answer.
