Hi Folks
Some items from yesterday's thrift and yard sales.

The gruen watch is great and keeping good time. Its called The Pan American .
A nice pair of sterling cufflinks, sign P.K. Sterling
A nice pair of 14K cufflinks

Cufflinks and tie clip are nice
Nice pair of cufflinks with single pearl, no hallmark, feels like gold, but need a test.
Paid $75.00 for everything. (The watch is worth 4x that amount)

I also picked up some clothing today but I dropped off at dry cleaners already, will post them next week.
Best regards
Countryclubjoe

Hi Folks

The Flask is full of Jamison 13 years aged.
I recall another thread of which asked what vintage things are missing from our everyday life style. Oh well How many folks carry a Flask in there vintage suit coat pocket? Or simply carry a "Flask" I do.
Best regards

hi all

check out that Flask. Not many folks carry them around anymore. However, I do and its full with Jamison whiskey. Well its empty by dinner time.
I never order a drink when out. I provide my own. LOL
Best regards

Picked up this great vintage-y leather jacket for EUR 15 at a flea market. Quite pleased with it!
The leather feels a little dry and hard like it could with conditioning. Any recommendations?

(incidentally, that's our 1930s Bavarian wardrobe behind the jacket. :) )

I just got this pair of chairs which I'm having re-covered in a Duck Egg chenille fabric - I reckon they are from the 30's or 40's - they are small enough so perhaps they were for a bedroom - can anyone confirm?

Its similiar to Roseville, or Weller or Halls pottery but I believe they all marked there pieces.

Looks like 30s piece. Nice fine for $5.00

Best regards

Thank you for the response.
Its all I thought when I saw it but with no makers mark couldn't be sure, I asked the price and couldn't say no for 5.

Picked this up over the weekend. The music box didn't work, and I planned to fix it. Dad decided he'd save me the trouble. Plays like brand new, now! Enjoyed a couple cold ones out of it last night.
