And this was eBay, so it doesn't really belong in this thread, but it lumps in so nicely with the one above.

Thanks so much! I love having all these little 'tip of the hat' pieces to the past. I figure I'm doing a service by keeping the stuff out of the landfill lol

Why no pipe smoking in the house?

Tom, I've seen a lot of your pictures, and you must have the most interesting abode! I love all your cool vintage nicknacks, and I envy your ability to smoke your pipe in the house.

Speaking of which, I'm going to smoke my pipe outside...heh.

Speaking of signs, I got a few(8) this weekend. :p
One of them is a rippler Coors. I don't have pictures of mine but They look like this:

I got two of these One of them was new in the package with instructions and a few scene changes.

This is the rippler I didn't realize it was one until I got it home and turned it on.

This guy must have liked Coors because I got several others and two Schlitz too. :p
I got two of these sconces.

This one needs a power cord(unlike the picture) but it is really cool so I had to get it. :p

I have to add this one since I found a similar photo. Mine doesn't have the clock int he center though. It just has a large version of the picture of the rocky spring. :p

Oh, I see. My pop never smoked in the house, still doesn't to this day. That was for the safety and condition of the house/antiques more than for us kids lol

Shangas has it right. The wife would murder me if I smoked my pipe in the house, although she tolerated the pipe smoke before we had kids. I don't really want to expose them either; if they want to take up pipe smoking, I'd prefer it be their choice! ;)

I found it on Craigslist. $75, and it came with 5 "bonus" letters from the identical sign on the other side of the building which didn't survive in-tact. Had to drive three hours down to Virginia to pick it up, but even so, I couldn't be happier.

Extra letters+sign

Up on the wall. Need to fix something with the neon on the small W to make it mountable.

Makes sense to me. Honestly, if not for my Grandpa and Dad both being fans of tobacco use, I probably wouldn't have ever taken it up myself.

That's fine and dandy, but I grew up with my pop smoking stogies and my grandpa doing the same, or his pipe. I can't help but think that it influenced me, as I smoke both now lol

I'm not fancy schmancy like you, though. Dutch Masters do the trick for me :p

I didn't need my forebearers help to like fine cigars. :p
