Thanks, I'm so happy that I got a bow tie in the exact same color as my Mallory 15!:cool2:

BTW-What do you think about this coat? It's new, but I think it has a very nice vintage look to it. 100% fine wool and the color is described as a grey-blue. Which pants would match with this one?

I would say you should wear grey trousers with this jacket. Tan or white will also look good. If its more blue than grey, then any earthtone will match.

It looks good, and actually looks Italian. Very similar to Attolini's silhouette. Some modern Italian jackets are cut similar to the 1930s style, although the modern Italian trouser cut that goes with them unfortunately is narrow, low-rise and worn with a belt.

That jacket is made by Hugo Boss and if you look on ebay you'll find many similiar coats and suit. Some very nice examples:

Don't trust your eyes, this is a BROWN coat:

Salv,

I was going to buy a suit from Rob but I am still losing some weight. I figure by the January "London FL" meetup I'll have reached my goal weight. I plan on attending that and I'll be in the UK for almost two weeks. Does Rob have a shop? I'd like to go and take a look at some of his fabric.

Thanks,

Barry

He doesn't have a shop any more, but he works out of a room in a terraced house in Kensington in London. The address is on the contact page on the website. He's not always there so you have to make an appointment to see him, but if you're here for two weeks you should catch him. The next London meet looks like a big event - we'll have to find a larger venue.
