He's not on FL yet, but hey I am and I took the pics! Does that count?

It counts for me. That is a great 1940s look, perfect in every respect.

i won this suit on ebay for 2 DOLLARS. TWO DOLLARS. Its a 42 r and i'm a 42 L but i usually have to get 42ls tailored to fit properly as they are too big. This is a snug fit and i am aware the jacket is a little TOO snug but i am going to get it fixed. either way its very comfortable, 100% wool and... 2 dollars.

Hop, maguire ... looking good. Maguire, I am a 42L as well, and my tailor is kept awful busy (and moderately well-off) lowering arm and leg cuffs ... I know the feeling.

New Wool Jones of New York 3 Piece Suit

It has been years since I purchased a new suit and your ideas have taken hold of my senses and purchased a Jones of New York 100% Wool 3 piece suit. The suit is a size 40 Long. The watch is an 1892 Hampden GP watch. The shoes are Oakton Cordovan Classics. As always, your comments would be welcome.

It's a handsome suit, Draws. Consider shortening the sleeves about half an inch. IMO, the vest would look even better if its bottom sat higher up on your stomach. If you want to go through the trouble, a good tailor can "raise" the vest for you a bit.

Check first to see if raising the vest would create a gap between its bottom and the top of your trouser's waistband. If the answer is yes, then don't do anything to the vest. Better to be a bit long than to show that gap.

There is also a crease running diagonally across the middle button that indicates an alteration is need in front/change of button placement IMHO.

Great look and two for two dollars. Some people have all the luck.
