So I am in the market for a new sewing basket. The one I currently have a bought at an estate sale a few years back but I don't think is particularly old maybe 70's at the oldest. Just looking for ideas for a new one as my birthday is coming up so people might be looking for gift ideas it doesn't have to be true vintage it could be vintage inspired.

Thanks! I love it smuterella I forgot about those kind that look like an end table and tier out. I am afraid that if our cat sat on it like that it would tip over she is such a porker.lol

Wow, thanks for the memory jog! I had completely forgotten but my mother had (has?) the same sewing box! Idk if she still has it though...arthritis. I was just thinking recently that I needed a proper sewing box so thanks for starting this thread.
