That dress looks very similar to something I saw Audrey Hepburn wear in a movie, but I can't for goodness sake think of the name of the movie. But it's a lovely dress. I'm sure you'll look great.

I haven't splurged so much on one outfit in a really long time, but I get paid tomorrow, and you know, I'm trying to lose a few pounds so I don't need groceries this month anyway!

It's black velvet and the fabulous jacket will fit me perfectly, though I might get the skirt taken in an inch for a flattering fit.

Thank you! I tried a small version first in the store (didn't have my size). And though the back didn't close (not even an teeny bit), I already felt great and really pretty! Hasn't been the weather yet to try the new one on though, it's 2 sizes bigger. Hope it's not too big now, haha!

Fleur, that is *gorgeous* - I love black velvet! I have a dark brown velvet velvet jacket I wear to work, but I'd love to find a black suit like that.
