I finally found a pair of plastic frames from the 40s...they might be from the 50s, not sure.....thoughts?
I can't wear metal due to allergies, so I am stoked to have found these....for 20 bucks! (Plus they are red and sparkly). :)

It is like some sort of combination between a vintage cloche and a fairy hat :D

I don't think this colour is flattering on me at all, but I still love it and I'll try to make it work. The seller thinks this is circa 50's, I am not sure, what do you all think?

I hope it gets here soon!

I went crazy and snatched these up! I haven't gone on a pattern buying spree ever before. It was fun but a bit hard on my college student budget. I won't be repeating my spree for a while. But oh, they are so delicious!! I can't wait to sew them up!

(This is a 1950's Butterick pattern. The picture isn't wide enough to show that.)

Spring dress fabric!

Yummy vintage rayon - 4 yards for about $35 with the shipping and all.

You can't get this kind of rayon in stores anymore. Love anything with pink and green on black!

WOW!!! That hat is to die for!!
Mojito and ExquisiteBones, thanks much! I'm excited for it to get here :D
I just got the one in the mail with the wide belt and it's fab! Needs some work here and there, but nothing major. Not bad for so dang cheap. And I just got the most LOVELY hat in the mail from deco darling. It's obvious she's got excellent taste in hats, as shown above.
