I found this great early 50s bag at the Goodwill, and the 40s champagne label scarf was also a thrift store find!

This cute little satin evening bag is the most beautiful shade of emerald green.

Lizzie, those are great bags. Vintage handbags are one of the things I need to start adding to my collection. I have always been a fan of designer bags, I tend to buy at least one a year, so it's hard to break the habit and buy a vintage one. I especially like the yellow one with the scarf hanging off of it. That is a great bag.

Thanks all! Now I'm obsessively searching for a pair of shoes in the same yellow! This was a big fashion color in the 40s and into the 50s if one can go by ads in Vogue and Bazaar, so it shouldn'd be so hard.
