Do you ever go to a sale... and lose your breath?

Today I met the kindest ladies, daughters of Rita. Rita was a WAC in WWII and loved vintage. She saved everything. She was a raven haired beauty, and I got to see because her daughters put up photos everywhere. Turns out this was the 4th sale they had had, and I am VERY sorry I missed the others.

They are selling "the good stuff" on eBay (gramstashpot),!

No Ebay seller of that name right now... is that the correct spelling?

Yes, good catch. I can't find anything even close to that! :( POOH! I don't have an e-mail or anything for them, as I figured I'd go on ebay. She even wrote it for me [huh] [huh]

Wow Clara! What a haul. Next year I am going to spend alot more time at Yard Sales and Estate Sales. I always end up paying so much for vintage unless I'm in Duluth MN.

Is it - gramsstashpot - just missing that extra s? That is a seller!

That's it Fleur! Look on their ME page and you can see Rita :)

eBay's search must have been wonky when I was looking, b/c I tried every way of spelling that and found nothing.

ShortClara: Thanks! I'm trying my hardest, and still manage to look goofy on every picture. ;)

Vintage Betty: Nope, it a repro, unfortunately. I'm so tall that finding vintage ANC-jackets that fits is a pain. So it's a WW2-impressions jacket.

This Dress was ten bucks which is about the best deal I'll ever get. I need to take it in on top and have it steamed and dry cleaned.

I love this dress. It has quite a few moth holes. I told my self that I could fix them but once I got it home I begain to have doubts.

I don't think the sweater's vintage but I thought it had a retro feel.

I have fixed holes in vintage knits with that iron on patching stuff. If the hole isn't huge, you usually can't tell once it's patched.
