Thanks for the bowtie compliments, fellas, I do get lucky every great once in a while while thrifting. I'm fortunate, because I have two great thrift stores fairly close by... and Alan, very nice shirt by the way.

^Yes, I'm a big fan of that Chesterfield. The dinner jacket looks nice, too. Is that Harris tweed a 3/2 roll dartless Ivy styled number, quarter lined, etc.?

If it's not, it should be. Must be vintage early '70's? I really like the buttons.

Yep, that about sums up the Harris. I recently acquired it and have been wearing it as much as possible. It is a very warm coat.

Feraud, who made the zipper in those brown trousers? Maybe Lee?

Been making quite a few purchases in the last few weeks.

1). 3 button double vented Harris Tweed sportscoat

2). 2 button single vent MTM Harris Tweed sportscoat

3). 3 button single vent Harris Tweed sportscoat

4). Marlboro handmade `goodyear welted' shoos (not really handmade, but the shoos do have handwork)

5). Barron Lee heavy wool overcoat
(Will need some alterations...collar needs a complete reconstruction). Shirt is only a RTW Borrelli. Collar is too low. l only, purchase `bespoke' shirts now. (The `shirt' and `tie' pic embarrasses me ALOT).

Thanks man. l still reckon the Marlboro's look alittle punk with all the metal on the sole and all.

Yeah, can't wait for the Vass. Still haven't arrived. l can't wait until l get `em.

l had a bad dream last night (a nightmare). l dreamed that the postal lady called by my office and told me about the new shoo delivery. She handed me the package. l open the shoo box and l pull out a pair of sneakers made made from China. lol l nearly died in shock. l tell her it's a mistake, but she doesn't believe me. l tell her that the Vass shoos (in her basket) are mine. She still refuses to believe me..eventhough l bring out the Vass book and show her my other shoos. [huh]

Black Church's monk. lt's a tough old rascal (built really strong). Fits nice. Not as good as my older Church's monks. l got this to replace my broken Church's monk (old black one on 73) with a newer styled model. Never pretty, but smart reliable shoos. Nothing feels like Church's.....they have a unique feel. The shoes still retain some special elements that are Church's hallmarks (hard and strong). lt's a wholegrain shoo.

paste a pic later........
