Langemark German WW1 cemetery, Yeper Sector, Belgium. During Germany's invasion of France in WWII through Beligium, Adolf Hitler paid a visit to this cemetery and walked through this gate to pay homage to his comrades who died in the Yeper Sector.
Since we are talking about Ieper.
Tyne cot cemetery.
An absolutely beautiful cemetery with incredible nostalgia for British, Canadian, Australian and New Zealand grave sites. I'm think there are about 12,000 graves of Commonwealth servicemen with about 8,400 unmarked. A very close friend of mine (Conraad) gives tours of the Ieper (Yeper) Sector to this day and provided me with access to all relevant sites in 2000. An amazing, memorable and beautiful area to visit if you are ever in Europe.
