I was sitting at my desk, feeling bored...and then I turned around and saw something that I figured would make a nice photograph. It looked like it had a nice, noir-ish feel to it. Kinda dark and mysterious...

My new camera is great, but you need the stability of Gibraltar to take decent sepia-shots. The slightest jolt screws it up. But this looked pretty interesting in spite of that. So I decided to keep it.

Took this one the other day when we were burning leaves. The sun was shining through the smoke as it passed through the magnolia tree.

I live in the "Wild West", Giftmacher. Two miles from my house is completely untamed desert and it is common to see all manner of wildlife. Coyotes are routinely seen in our neighborhood, and just a couple miles from my house, a woman walked out onto her back patio one morning a couple years ago, and behold, a mountain lion was slaking it's thirst from her pool. Needless to say, kinda spoiled her morning coffee!

Wow! Gotta see it some day! The only venomous snake here is European viper

I took this photo while traveling to CA. Amazing sights, and such. I couldn't help but make the photo look a little older than it is...

I had to go into town today to keep an appointment. It was boiling hot. To kill time and to make the best of a bad situation, I took a few photos...

This is Crown Casino on the Southbank Promenade of the Yarra River in central Melbourne.

The old and the new. Cnr. Flinders & Swanston, looking East.

"Under the Clocks" at Flinders Street. Opened in 1910, Flinders Street Railway Station has been a Melbourne icon for 103 years now. It also houses the city's main hat shop, downstairs
