My mom's engagement & wedding rings and my dad's lighter that he had in Korea.
The bookcase that they're sitting on belonged to my grandparents.

Nipper

This is one of my most prized (material) possessions, an original early-20s Victor Nipper. This is not the standard American dog with glass eyes, but a somewhat less common all-clay model. Note how PERFECT the modeling is.. - wish I'd staged the shot a bit better..

Do you have an old cylinder-phonograph? Or a record-phonograph? That's what you need to stage the shot better!

I had a Victor box horn phonograph which I sold to the guy who broke the spring while winding it. But the geometrics would have been all wrong. I was thinking a while back of taking a photograph of Nipper looking at one of my antique TVs, or a tasteless piece of plastic sculpture - with Nipper's expression it would work. Or I could take it to a friend with a horn Edison (who covets my dog...:D)

Or just have him looking at a pile of 78s..
