I've come to the conclusion that super short hair that is curled really works well for me.

xitsvivx...I adore your haircolor! Oh, how I wish I could do that! Like Mrs Inky, I noticed your brows too. Is that a permenant color or do you have a pencil? I don't think I've ever seen anyone color their brows like that before! I like it!

I also love xitsvivx's style! Beautiful!! Love the tinted eyebrows especially, like everybody else! sometimes I use a green pencil lightly on my eyebrows and I used to occasionally do them softly in blue when I had blue hair. It looks so cool to match the lavender-fuschia hair to the eyebrows though, xitsvivx! When I did it with cold colours like green and blue it creates a really weird look, kind of alien (it probably doesn't help that I like to draw my eyebrows on angled upwards a little... I'm a trekkie what can I say)

Aw thank you that is so delightful to hear! That's too bad you've got kind of a restrictive workplace when it comes to clothes, but I would love to see pictures if you ever decide to experiment some day!

Here is a pic of my victory rolls last weekend...the rolls have been my nemesis, and I suck at them! But....for months I have been saving my hair and made a HAIR RAT! (with my dyed red hair a regular rat is not an option). So LOOK! They work like a charm! Sorry I am excited, hehe. Perfect profile finally! And when my hubs came into the BR and saw these 2 big freakin balls of red hair on the sink....he totally freaked out and gave me the most horrified look EVER! LOL, he was like what the hell is THAT!? I had to explain, and he still cant believe that women have done this for centuries!

Just wanted to tell you that i got the cherry shirt, fits a tiny bit snug in the tummy, but otherwise i like it very much and get lots of compliments on it, also as usual, i love the top that you are wearing in this picture, where is it from if you don't mind my asking?

New color, new cut...

A friend recommended Da Vinci haircolor to me. This is their Golden Brown shade. Its been a month and even with swimming, it hasn't faded much or bleached out blonde like other haircolor brands I've tried. It even has had a little reddish blonde highlights peek through which I like very much.

I really like how this slightly darker shade of haircolor gives my facial coloring a lovely sort of burnished look! Here I am sans makeup, I just had the roots touched up two evenings ago, so they look a little dark to start with.

I went last Saturday to see my SF vintage hairstylist, to either get a permanent wave done again, get my hair cut short, or SOMETHING! With having so much of my hair pulled out from the vintage sets done in the past year, lots of my hair is now only like three inches long. The hairstylist and I had a long discussion, and the final decision was to let my hair "rest, and regrow it for a while. He's going to work with a human hair hairpiece he has, coloring it to match my haircolor, and re-style it sort of on a headband idea, and then we can work with it curled for vintage styling, adding it along with my own hair for when I want a vintage look.

The final solution was BANGS again, as part of a really good HAIRCUT done by the SF hairstylist. I love it. Wow, I can just tousle my damp hair and go! Perfect for my busy and physically active lifestyle. The sides are almost perm free now, and the curled section is just mainly at the bottom of the back of my hair. This head shot pic taken here is a little fuzzy on the sides and bottom, but it gives you the general idea.

xitsvivx, Sue and chanteuseCarey, I love your hair colors. chanteuse, I agree about the effect the hair color has on your complexion and your hair really suits your features as well. The dark blue dress compliments both your hair and complexion well. I mean, the blue color brings the best out in your coloring.

thanks Pixie honey, I am glad you like the shirt. If it is tight in the tummy just do what I do, an wear a little tummy control panty! LOL In this picture I am wearing a dress I made myself, if I can't find what I like in my size, I just make it

I haven't been doing much with my hair because my head has been to achey (freakin headaches). Then I did a marvelous me thing and fell and hurt my arm something fierce. Still flippin hurts to move it in some directions. So I was trying an old summer standard, of the roll starting from one side and going to the next. Maybe if I could find my rat it would have worked, but since my hair is still a tad short the bottom looked punny. So, two rolls down into a pony. My bangs are already dying lol.
