Does this happen to you to? You have a great hair & outfit day, but you don't even think of taking a photo before you get home in the evening, tired, tousled, in the darkness... ;)

Knicked this from my instagram account. I was really pleased with the way my set turned out that day. Unfortunately, it was snowing and the cold weather ruined my hair.

So I got my hair cut short on Thursday. I was frustrated and bored with my long hair I was putting it in ponytails and braids more often then any other style, and because I was board of it I think I was making me look tired. Here is a photo from mine and my husbands trip to Europe last month this was honestly all the better my hair got the entire trip (and I was working with a fresh hair cut).

I went to my hair dresser with these 3 pictures

I think my hair dresser cut my hair a bit shorter than I wanted. Also I forgot to remind him how much straighter my hair is wet , so here is my hair with no styling I slept on it wet and at some point in the night put it in a ponytail

and this is the best style I have gotten so far (while I am competent in making pin curls I don't like sleeping on them and prefer to use a curling iron or curlers. But I get better results with the curling iron). I used curlers for this style but like I said I like using a curling iron more.

but inevitably I get annoyed with my style or feel it looks a bit boyish and pull it back in a clip like this

So I need help with styling ideas, and tips to make my hair more feminine or something I am just not super please with it at the moment.

Oh wow, you look fab-u-lous! If you have the time, and, the inclination, your hair is just the perfect colour and length to go for the silver screen Holywood Starlet look: Try this tutorial for the real p-zazz factor:

Thanks for the recommendation, this look is pretty much how I styled my hair when it was long and because of my natural curl it did this pretty easily with a curling iron. do you have any recommendation for silver screen starlet type hair tutorials? I like that type of style I just am not sure how to do that.

Click on the video, the young girl looks like a bimbo, but she is one sensible young lady. She does tend to drift now and then, but her tutorial style is simple to follow.
If you have a go, show us the pictures. And by the way, your avatar doesn't do you justice.
This does you justice:

Love the flowers, Antje.

Grant Fan, firstly it's certainly not boyish!
Perhaps some beaded clips, hair flowers, or decorated combs? My hair is baby fine so I can't really wear them.
