I know exactly what you mean. Before I had the middy I had to have both sides up, but now that it's short enough on the sides I can leave it down. Hair in my face drives me bats.

I finally have gotten the early 30s bob I have always threatened to get. Its still longish on top so I can continue to do waves if I want. I had a bob 20 years a go but not with a vintage edge like this

Cecil, you are just a stunning girl...and no you do not have the "b**chface" I think you just look elegant...people sometimes tend to confuse those two. Take a look at Gloria Swanson

Yes, it is very short at the back and shaved under the rounded bob, so you can't actually see it. Next time I get it cut I will be asking them to leave the top long, so that from the part to the tips of the pointed ends of the bob it is one length...this is how I have seen it cut in old photographs I have from the 30s. There is too much layering at the front atm which is not what I wanted.
