I've come to a pause with my hair.

is my go to. I think I'm so comfy with this style that I don't want to change it up.. and anything out of my face I feel makes my head huge looking! But sometimes I feel it's bland.

I've really been lusting some bangs....1960s bangs.... not really my style so I'm wondering if it would be a mistake cutting them. I really like how they look on Francoise Hardy.

Do any of you other ladies have these bangs and if so.. how do you style them for your 40s-50s looks?

I think it could work, and you could style them in a ton of ways! You could always roll/curl them under easily to achieve a 40s type bang, or pin curl a whole bunch of sections of the fringe for a 40s look.

I think you could achieve most of these styles, but I guess it depends on the length you choose. ;) You could achieve some great finger waves in them too I bet!

Various ways I have had my hair today. Started out with a pillow roller set.

Hopefully it won't drop in humidity too quickly.
That's not a "good hair day", that's a GREAT hair day!

Thanks Kamikat too bad it fell out about 2 hours later in the humidity. But I have to say I did feel better walking back into work after being gone for the summer looking like I was putting in an effort.

Yesterday I did a rather 60's inspired updo. Not my usual, 1940's, but I felt like trying something different.

Well thanks bettydarling it was your hair do picture that inspired me to put in my pincurls on Sunday night. :)

Dahrling that is a great wave with that color too.

Lovley hair Land-O-LakesGal. I know what you mean about the humidity. I am lucky to have course hair. It holds the curl but get's awfully frizzy.

Love the new hair color Darhling but I think any shade of blonde would suit you.

Hope you can see the hairdo! It was the best I could do. My hair usually doesn't like showing what it's doing. It tries to hide in itself so the camera can't see it's style. lol I think these pictures show fairly well though.
