LOVE your hair color Antje!!! I wish I could go that light but being I have such dark hair I would have to bleach it first so I am left with admiring it on other people. Cute bangs too!!!

It's an addiction, isn't it? Always cutting your bangs that little bit shorter  Soon I'll have a near bald spot at the front of my head

I just dyed my hair for the first time in about 6 years. It's a red mainic panic over my natural color and I'm really happy how it turned out, even if it is for only a month :)

Hello Ladies!! Hope you've all been well! I have a question regarding rollers, feel free to move this to another thread if it doesnt belong here. Do any of you use velcro or brush rollers? If so did u like the results? Would u post a pic of your curl results? Thank you all!

The few times I've tried velcro/brush rollers, they got tangled up horribly in my hair. I guess they are okay if you have straight, fine hair, but I would not recommend them for thick, curly hair.

I have tried the bristle type rollers and they work well as long as you have a hairdryer with a hood, i couldn't imagine sleeping in them though, i havent tried velcro rollers but would imagine they would rip my hair out !!!

Thanks for the info! Getting tangled was one of my concerns, I happen to have thick wavy hair, and those brush rollers look scary! my mom has velcro, I think I'll try those one a small section and see what it get!

This style was done with 1" curling iron, everything rolled down, no particular setting, just parted my hair in 4 sections, started from the bottom up....

This was my 'do yesterday, this style is from the book, "Vintage Hairstyling 2nd edition" that I recently purchased, the bangs are a slight variation since my bangs are still too short for the exact style....

Quona, your hair looks wonderful, it's so perfect in the back!

Thanks. That's actually one of the few times that it turned out well in the back, since I'm basically blind when I'm setting my hair back there :) . It's such a pain to get nice, neat little rows.

Don't even think about it!! They are terrible, I bought a set and used them once and never again  hair gets tangled and when you take them off, the curl looses its shape

I use the sponge ones as they are easier to put on, and you can sleep with them :)

Oops. I missed this before.
Yeah, I agree with the other ladies, just don't bother. I have velco rollers and I find the curls drop almost instantly. Not good for recreating vintage styles. In fact, they're not good for much else, really.

I converted the photo to BW because I didn't have my brows or lips on the color shot because i was so washed out.

I've been "away" for a while and I was just looking at all the fantastic photos you ladies have posted. I could've commented on all of them. There are some new ladies who are already doing much better with their hair than I am. Not that tonsil removal makes you want to do much with your hair. PS, you make glamour look so easy.
