Hi Chaps, recent acquisition, blue grey herringbone, British made, unfortunately there are no labels to ID maker.
Judging by the cut it could be possibly 30s? or early 40s.

This sports coat I picked up vintage, it's from France made in 1977 and i've been wearing it to death this summer because it's perfect for the heat. I've yet to find a tie that doesn't go well with it, but it has a slightly green tint so that's been my favorite color to pair it with so far. Let me know what y'all think!

Great colour coat Tukwila! Is the Gannon the Robert Mitchum Farewell My Lovely -inspired lid? Very sharp!
Thank you.

Although I love that movie, and Robert Mitchum's hat even more, the initial inspiration for the hat is a smaller scaled, late 50s Royal Stetson.

What a great outfit, Imperialist!
This fits together very well, although I would prefer a bit lighter socks.
Do you have detail photos of the jacket? What does the back look like?

And the knickerbockers are also interesting with the stripes!
Maybe you can post them in the corresponding thread?
