The perfecto really looks a bit different then other designs. The PER2 has a leather flap under the sleeve zipper, so no worries about scratching the watch. :D The Talon zipper is very high quality and the leather is surprisingly supple.

Unique and looks like a great fit...but difficult to clearly see some of the photos (at least on my monitor). Any more pics available?

Thank you HD, my cellphone camera is really bad indeed, later when I meet my sister I'll ask her to take some better picture with her camera, I'll post them later.

Navetsea, yep I see it now. I'm really digging the neck/back pocket and the idea behind the leather patch thingie. Makes the jacket look even more futuristic. Sure sounds you can fit tons of things in there if it's going all the way to the waist. :) It's as wide as the two middle lines, correct?

Thank you Monitor, yes the pocket is trapezoid shaped wider on top, narrower on the waist following the v middle lines with protruding piping those where the pocket edges, you are correct. :)

@the loco
cool DR!

Edit:
here are some photos with better camera taken by my sister.

I love the second Aero Jacket the most, You won, thank you.;) QUOTE=JLStorm;1463909]I don't think I could choose between my two custom aeros, each one is my favorite depending on the day. I probably have 25 or so jackets of varying materials and quality, but if the house was burning down and I could only carry two things, I think these would be them:

Yes, the same model but not the same jacket. This is bigger than a size, perfect for me, and is newer. I was lucky, bought as NOS some months ago.
If you will compare the pics, you will notice the differences.

I think it was this exact model that I tried on long time ago? Made by an Italian or German manufacturer, I think? There's was a store here that had it (still has it?) and I thought it looked really cool but despite the distressed look and the lack of stripes and a few hundred random tire and exhaust manufacturer logos, it's still a jacket that designed entirely for sport bikes so it simply doesn't work as an off bike jacket. I'm pretty sure this model even has armour already installed?

Finally! Man, that's a great fit.

Thanks Monitor!

looks great, tapered v shape from the back

Thank you navatsea! I am loving the jacket more and more as it begins to shape to my body. It may seem strange, since I ordered the 'darkest brown available', but I am hoping some lighter striations in color begin to show as this jacket takes on more wear. The dark shade in some lighting seems to mute out the beauty that this jacket has under the flash of a camera (to me at least). I want the jacket to (pardon the overused comparison) begin to look like Indiana Jones' jacket-like it has been through hell and back. But I DON'T want this wear to be simulated or false. In other words, I don't want to throw it on the ground, or wash it in the washing machine, etc. to get the look I am after. It still looks a bit 'new' to me, but I haven't even had it for one year yet so I must be patient.

I know exactly what you mean and good for you for taking the longer route, but I find it's hard to sometimes resist, say, giving it just that extra little scrape when you're leaning against a brick wall waiting for an elevator, or scraping an edge with your thumbnail when no one's looking. I always feel a bit guilty about that, but, I don't know, I'm weak.
