Thank you, guys. I got lucky; the hides they used have beautiful grain, and the tumbled black FQHH is sort of matte black that shows the brown undertones as the jacket wears in.

I almost sold it at one point, but I am so glad I kept it. My favorite jacket by far!

Happy Holidays!

Thanks, my good man! This is a piece advice to all fellow Loungers:

If you're not sure about a jacket from the start (but you don't 100% feel there's something wrong with it); give it a chance!! I was debating for a while if I wanted to sell my Vanson, constanly looking in the mirror, wondering if it fit right. But trust me: from the moment you accept it looks great and you give the jacket a shot, you will grow severly attached to it, you'll never want to let it go and the jacket will look better every time you wear it up until the moment you realize this is the best looking jacket you've ever had!

That's really true. Although it was big, I wish I'd kept my HWM. At the time, I had this weird OCD thing where I refused to tighten the side straps. If I had done so, it would have been fine. I wear my Johnson with the side straps done up now. Weird huh?

I somehow recknognize that-- kind of feels like you're cheating, doesn't it? I do hope your Johnson satisfies you enough so that you won't feel too sad from having sold the HWM :)

Money's tight so I flirt with selling it often. Hopefully I'll get it together and eventually try a HWM 2.0. Yours looks great.

Thanks, Nick. I hope you work it out! Perhaps a Premier Fit Highwayman would work wonders for you! I will definitely never stop appreciating my HWM, I promise you.

i love the look of the collars of the Premier line and the half belt, but I prefer the classic Highwayman, even if my body's not cut out for it! I prefer my jackets a little roomy anyhow.

Vanson is notorious for looking like a horror out of the box, especially their Model A and B jackets, for whatever reason. It's embarrassing. But once you break it in just a bit, there's no finer jacket.
