I usually hang out in the outerwear section dissecting leather jackets, etc.; but I like to wear a newsboy cap sometimes and I checked this forum for advice. B!Wear Caps were recommended (link below) and I was very satisfied. I would recommend emailing ahead to the owner, Brett, and arranging for a leather band for slightly extra. Also I would recommend ordering the next size up. I really dig these hats. They're the only ones I've come across that have the fuller, more authentic 1920's profile and they're quite reasonable too.

I've always thought that b!wear has more of a beret look to their newsboy version. Probably because of the way the seams are positioned and tiny bill. However they do have a following.

Thanks for this info. I have been looking for a vintage look bikers cap or even a truck drivers cap you see in the old movies. It is really hard to locate the real thing.

Maybe a dumb question but are these caps always worn snapped? I have seen these type of hats worn open but they do not have the snap like the one in the link. I sure would like to see a pic of a b!Wear Cap worn open. I am interested in one like the one in the link.

I lost weight and basically am getting a whole new wardrobe. I also got a cap from "The Hat People" in Oregon and they come without a snap for easier wearing "back." I like their material, sort of a Pendleton wool, but I like the B!Wear caps a lot better. And B!Wear is less expensive too.
