Shoulder bag that looks less purse like

I carry a bag on a daily basis. Between medical supplies and a firearm, there is always a need for it. Attached is a pic of my current bag and it does work well, but looking for something a little different; less purse like. I see the repro Indy bags out there:

I was curious what peoples thoughts were that use them regularly - along with any other suggestions.

Tbh, I've never much cared what other people think (if that's what bothers you about it appearing "purse like"), but if you like a bag with a canvas/leather mix, you can't get better than a Brady fishing bag. Www.bradybags.co.uk Triple layered canvas, so even in heavy rain your stuff won't get wet. Fair bit more expensive than an Indy, but a much higher quality item and it'll last muxh longer with heavy use.

I would also have recommended a "cartridge bag" or "shooting bag" type of bag, like the ones made by Brady (Barbour comes to mind as well as Beretta). You carry a bag that is attractive and stylish. I have a leather one recently purchased in Italy that is very similar. They look good, absolutely for men and what's wrong with a litttle style. Keep going and don't worry what others think as long as you like it.

I use the same satchel as you and I don't think that it looks too purse like.
