I'll stick with my guayaberas until some celebrity corrupts the look.

Thankfully, here in south Florida that association means nothing, and anyone can wear a guayabera without fear of that connotation. *Whew*!

Was there any typical norm one way or the other as to when these ss shirts were worn tucked in or out back in the day?

You can tuck them in, but they look terrible in my opinion and weren't made to be tucked in.

I can't think of any of my ss camp shirts that I would tuck in.

Most authentic 50's shirts are cut to just hang over the waist, so there isn't enough fabric to tuck.
