Short Guys and Jacket Length

It also depends of your body shape.

For example, I'm 5'2 and usually need a 25.5" back length.

My Aero Sheene with this back length.

Just goes to show that size can be meaningless. I wear 25.5 inch back too (in some jackets) and I am 6 ft 2 (a foot taller) And it falls slightly longer on me than in your photo. Go figure...

I'm 5'5" and the other bomber style jasket I have measures at 27 inches in the back. I am usually a 40S. Its really hard to judge the size of these jackets online.

5'9 ~175 lbs and my Roadster (Highwayman for reference) jacket is 24 inches measuring from the bottom of the collar to the bottom of the hem. Fits good but I wouldn't mind 1/2 inch longer.

For short style jackets I like the back to hit right around the top of my back pockets if I'm wearing levis 501 style jeans for example. I don't think height matters. If I was shorter or taller I'd want the jacket to hit at the same spot.

5'4" size 34. Length of 23". Wouldn't mind 24" for some styles. 23" comes just above my back pockets.
