Well, somehow or other I got a spec of Meltonia Cognac Shoe Creme on my shirt. How do I get it off? Spray it with resolve prior to washing? Put gunk hand cleaner on it?

HELP! :)

Thanks..

Not to sure about shoe polish but my "Readers Digest how to clean just about anything" suggests toothpaste for lipstic stains on shirt collers just rub in before washing.
I don't know if I would try it personally.
It does mention shoe polish stains but the method involves "all fabric bleach" (I don't know what that is) then if the stain persists chlorine bleach based detergent nither of which is gauranteed.
Please don't blame me if any of this makes things worse as I haven't tried either method.

I have used carburettor cleaner to great effect on grease stains.

Spray on the stain and scrub with an old toothbrush. Dip in soapy water from time to time or you will get a 'ring' from the carby cleaner.

Hope this helps.
