Hey all,
I am finally having to admit that my beloved Ship John Denim Wills Jacket is too big on me. I bought it last year and wore it off and on for several months, but there is no discernible wear. The denim will have a few of the usual wrinkles, but no stains, smells, rips, scuffs, tears, or fading. The 15oz Japanese Selvedge (Kuroki Mills) looks as new as the day I bought it. The front features snap closure as well as a beefy brass #10 YKK zipper. The action back is functional, and makes it so much easier to move, drive a car, etc. The fit and quality are easily equal to other top brands like Iron Heart, Tellason, and others.
The fit is what drew me to this brand in the first place. Ship John generally runs slim compared to most workwear, and the sleeves in particular are a trimmer fit that you'd expect on a typical chore coat or jacket from Carhartt, LC King, etc. Please see my measurements and compare them to a well fitting coat that you already own.
The jacket has visible selvedge in several locations, including inside the cuffs. I have seen several owners of this jacket fold the cuffs back once to show the hidden selvedge.
This was a limited run and has been sold out for some time. Stored on a wide hanger in my pet-free / smoke-free home.
$275 shipped to the USA. I am also listing this on eBay, but I'd rather sell it here. Send me a PM with any questions you may have.
All measurements taken with jacket laid flat:
Chest: 24.5"
Shoulder: 20.5"
Sleeve (shoulder edge to cuff, measured straight): 27.5"
Bottom opening: 23.5"
Length(base of collar to bottom edge) 30.5"
