Started the New Year off with Castle Forbes Lime Cream with a Savile Row 3824 brush. Used a Gillette Milord loaded with a Feather blade. Witch hazel splash and Dolce Gabbana Edt.

Been shaving before going to bed nowadays. Give me more time in the mornings and I love the smell of the shaving soap as I go to sleep. I slap on the aftershave gel after I get out of the shower.

my chave changes based on time and day of the week. i used to shave with a new merkur Safety razor with a badger hair brush and all of that, however i finally ran out of my shaving cream and shaving items (Art of shaving Lavender essential) that i use with that set up and i haven't replaced it yet. so, without good shaving cream and without all of my other things, i have switched to a slightly weird shave.

i use a Gillette profusion glide (the new one with 5 blades) and cold wter. nothing else. and usually no aftershave. it makes for a great shave, and it is quite bracing.

That being said, has anyone tried the 1903 set from J.Peterman? i was looking at it to replace mysupplies and i wanted to see a review first.
