Part of a series of photos I took for a magazine. This old gentleman was the editor-in-chief of a very very important newspaper in Brazil in 50s.

(Took these photos of a 30s Leica).

Mark; First Light is beautiful. I really like it.
Micheal; Well done. That's a very picturesque desert scene with a nice sense of depth.
Martin; I love the photos. You really managed to create a mood with those shots.
Quigley; I really like what you did with the Citroen silhouette.

Darrel - Thank you, very pleased you like the track :)

Michaelshane - Love your, seemingly, effortless style.

martinsantos - Superb photos. I like the use of slow shutter speed to capture some movement and character... the lighting is spot-on too.

Quigley Brown - Very cool piece of graphic design work.

HoosierDaddy - Simply staggering work.

Matt Crunk - Outstanding, confident, watercolours... it takes real skill to use the medium like this.

What a lot of serious talent there is here!!!.

Beautiful. I thought wood engraving was a print making technique.

Thanks. Perhaps it is. I suppose I should call it 'wood carving'...however I don't use conventional carving tools. Just draw it on..then use a Dremel (flex shaft rotary tool) to relieve the background for depth and lastly fine detailing ..then stain.

Boat oar...

Hesitate to post these here in with all the true works of "Art". These are something I play around with and consider more of an exercise in applied craftsmanship than an original work of art. But, I have done pretty well over the years with them and they are at least vintage style, or maybe a modern interpretation of vintage accessories.

A limited edition fountain pen, number 460 of 500, with an 18k gold nib and body turned from vintage acrylic resin blanks. Stand from amaranth and whitetail antler tips.

A more simplified version in whitetail antler/skull bone for the body and blackbuck horn cap. Stand in white oak and whitetail antler

This is a smaller "pocketable" fountain pen turned from an alligator jawbone, the tooth sockets filled with brass dust and epoxy. Stand in Black Cherry wood and antler

A pair (fountain pen and roller ball) turned from gaboon ebony and Hippo ivory, with contrasting finials.
