Thanks all for the compliments.
Ive started on Puss-N-Boots, using my cat, Brasco. Im giving it a 13 Colonies feel. Needless to say, my cat wasnt the best model, so Im using a lot of pictures :)

A poem spilling my guts to a certain someone. Maybe someday, when I've gotten all the tweaks out of it, I'll share it with him.

If I told you how I feal, would that push you away?
If I told you how I feal, would that make your day?

There are times when the need to share are so overwhelming, I don't know how I've kept it all inside.
But how could you not know? Unless you chose, not to see what lies before your eyes.
But, oh! To be able to speak the words, lifted off my soul.

Joy I feal when I am with you.
Sparkles in my eyes. Butterflies, always, even after so long. Joy, just thinking of you.
How I want you to be happy. Lil things to do, trying to make it so.

What i'd give to be able to just tell you those words.
So simple, straightforward.
Yet still, they do not say all that is inside.

I LOVE YOU.
The superficial.
Golden green of your hazel eyes. The soft wave of your coffee hair. Yours tats, your skin. Your crocked nose, small nostrils.

I LOVE YOU.
The profound.
The way your mind works, the quirks and twists and turns of your brain.
How you think. Freedom to express what your thinking.

How I long to tell you how I feal.
Yet fear keeps me from telling.
Fear that you'll kick me out of your life, fear that you'll laugh at me.

So I keep the words locked in my head, in my heart.
Let the emotions trickle down my face.

I LOVE.

Took 3 days,..surprised myself. But I had put it off for too long and I am in the midst of moving so it had to be done,...and quickly.

There's some wonderful images on here. I've just returned to painting after a break of many years and these are the first paintings I've ever done on canvas! Both acrylic, 39" x 16".

The landscape is a local view here in Cornwall. And the other is an old Citroen. Automotive art is harder than it looks! But I'd like to try more. Maybe throw in some figures next time...

Wow! There's a lot of talented people on here!

I love art. I enjoy it very much, but I'm not particularly good at it. These are some examples of my favourite pieces.

By the way, you may or may not recognise them. They're not my concepts, but rather images that I have replicated. I can copy ok- but drawing from my own imagination is awful!

This past Sunday, I did a photo shoot with a local photography group. We had access to a studio and "hot lights"; the kind used by the movie studios and by photographers of the golden era who took pictures of movie stars.

In 1938, Robert Coburn of United Artists (Goldwyn) photographed Merle Oberon.

Here is my version of that photo.

A special thank you to my model, Evelyn, and our make-up artist, Alyssa.

Better than you give yourself credit for, for darn sure... and way better than anything I can do without either graph-paper or computer-assisted-drafting software. (If my hands would quit shaking long enough, I might try to finish a model ship or plane I started ten years ago and post here... yeah, they've sat collecting dust that long.)

Lady Day, looked at your web site and am really knocked out over your talent.

Your New Vintage Lady business almost makes me sorry to be an old vintage gentleman.

Wishing you loads of success,

Beautiful job!

Nobody touches Merle Oberon in my book, but your model is a great consolation prize.
